The objective of the physical diagnosis carried out within the ICZM Scoping Study is to assess the most relevant marine and hydro-meteorological drivers triggering impacts on the coastal environment. A set of physical impacts have been selected to estimate the effects of climate change on the physical environment, ecosystems and coastal infrastructures.
This section presents the indicators constructed to assess physical impacts throughout the Northern Coast for the present situation, near-term (period 2030 -2040, under RCP 8.5) and long-term (period 2050-2070, under RCP 8.5). The results are classified into three levels: high level of impact (red), medium level of impact (yellow) and low level of impact (green).
